Friedrich Nietzsche once said that everything fate throws at us moves us forward in some way. Loving fate as it is is not a weakness. It is a source of strength and maturity. I depicted the wheel of fate as a ship’s wheel. Because I believe that we hold in our hands how we face fate, wherever it may take us. And roses are like life. They are beautiful, but they also have thorns that can hurt.
